Adopt a Family

Each year during the holiday season, Lighthouse adopts a Rhode Island family and provides food, clothing and toys for the entire family.  Woonsocket, RI's Adopt-A-Family program arranges for donors to make a donation or arrange to 'adopt' some kids for the holidays.  The program has been in existence for 26 years and in 2008 was able to find donors to 'adopt' 2,220 children in 1,056 families.
